  Services are back online. The transcription issues have been resolved for desktop users.

  Mobile updates in progress:• iOS: We've identified and fixed the issue where the beginning of transcriptions could get cut off. An update will be released soon.• Android: We've addressed the failover reliability issue and are awaiting Play Store approval. An update will be released soon.

  We're monitoring the situation and will resolve this incident once the mobile updates are live.

  From approximately 11:05 AM to 12:50 PM PT, users experienced transcription issues across platforms:

  • Desktop (Mac/Windows): Intermittent latency and slower transcription• iOS: First ~5 seconds of dictation audio was occasionally dropped, resulting in partial transcriptions• Android: Transcription failures

  The immediate impact has subsided, but we are still investigating the root cause. Early findings point to a routing issue with our inference provider, compounded by faulty failure recovery code on mobile platforms. We will post updates as we learn more.
